Halloween is the best time of the year!!

Halloween has got to be one of my favorite times of year…I think it’s a combination of quite a few things: 1) it is the beginning of the best time of the year (Halloween, my birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Chinese New Year, my mom’s birthday), 2) candy is involved…little packages of candy to sample throughout the month of October and it’s FREE (I should just end the list with that!) 3) You get to dress up and be something other than yourself...or at least what people see you as… 4) cute kids dress up and come to your door and you get to ooh and aaah at their cuteness 5) No one really works that day…it’s like free ticket to slack and eat candy! 6) Halloween parties with costume contests…orange and black paraphernalia…it’s great!!!

Here are pictures of when we went to visit Jason, Mer and Lucy. We went to a haunted house…it was such a blast…man, did they love those chain saws….we had so much fun!! Eric is a photographic GENEIUS as he made the picture black and white with the exception of myself in color...OOOH...spooky!!

Jason and Mer treated us to delicious Coney’s and then we watched what they all said was the best worst movie ever: Troll 2. It’s not even a sequel to anything…strange…but it was filmed in good ol’ Morgan, UT!

We stayed the night at their FABULOUS house and had the BEST bar-b-q afterwards….Jason grilled the most tender and delicious rib-eyes I’ve ever had!!!!

Fossil Fest 5K.

So, Eric decided to participate in a 5K race this year…here he is with his number…notice the all too formal and costly number that the city of Kemmerer supplied Eric with. Nice! Of course beggars can’t be chooser…this was the first race I had ever been a part of where there wasn’t a registration fee. Hence the number written with a sharpie.

Here is Eric at the commencement of the race…I had suggested that he try to keep up with our friend, Jill. To which he scoffed…well, she took 3rd overall and blew by him SO fast!!! HAHAHAHA!!! Good job, Jill!!! Before...

…and after.

He also participated in the basketball tournament with some of our friends; Josie, Kasey, Denver & Dalin. They did quite well,…I think second or third…there was some discrepancy about which place they took…

Family Happiness...

I am grateful for the wonderful and unexpected ways Heavenly Father shows His love and his constant attention to us. In unexpected ways, He gently reminds us that there is more to life than just ourselves. Life, fully experienced, in fact, ought to have little to do with just ourselves. Nothing has reminded me more of Christ’s mission and life than partaking of this glorious process of creating another life.
Dorian Gray can have his beauty and youth, I want to be with my family forever…which will be welcoming a new baby BOY soon (the doctor says with an 85-95% surety)!!!
People have always criticized the church for it’s uniformity and often “cookie cutter like families,” I guess my response to that thought would be to quote Leo Tolstoy’s first line in Anna Karenina, “All happy families resemble one another, but each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way.”

The Eldredge Reunion!!!

Here are four of the six Eldredge sisters...Linda, Julie, Sue and Sherla...

Wendy, Becky, Me and Carli!!

Jody and Kristee...I think I caught them both by surprise...and I'll be honest...seeing Kristee at the reunion was a little devastating as she is due about five days before me...and they say that second time pregnancies tend to show a little more and earlier...well, that is just not the case with Kristee...and I wasn't the only one who notices...several people asked if perhaps I was having twins...why don't you just tell me in a straight forward fashion that you think I'm excessively FAT?!? Too bad the sonograms have already shown it's just one little baby inside!!

The cutest triplets Brock, Zane and Cole(and their sister Alexandra) in the world!!!
