Carli came up with the idea to paint pumpkins this year instead of traditional caving. We were all supposed to smile as cheesy as possible...but Carli apparently did not get the message.
My Mom bought Max this Iron Man pumpkin set...and he L-O-V-E-S it!
Us showing off our pumkins.
Max decided he wanted to be the pumpkin...really, he just wanted to be Iron Man---pyooooo!!!
How are you going to light up your pumpkins. That is important because your porch is dark and used to scare me when I was little. I always feard Eric would jump off the roof, or hide in that bush.
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others

The King of the Wild Things...at least the king of our house!
Eric was born and raised in Wyoming and served a mission in Taipei, Taiwan. Eric did his undergraduate at BYU Utah. Aimei studied International Relations and Economics at UC Davis in California where she was born and raised. Through a series of events, we met when we were set up by Eric's Brother Adam...(and, no, much to people's disappointment, I was not some village girl he picked up on his mission)...and the rest is history!
