I know some people think Max looks so much like me, but for the most part, other than the fact that he's obviously part Chinese (from me) and definitely part Caucasian (from Eric)...Eric and I didn't get little mini-me's like some of our friends...but, the proof is in the pudding...or potato salad, as it were...this kid is so us sometimes...
Just look at this meal he concocted...
His creative play is SoooOOOOOO Eric
His organization he gets from me... he had all of the villains grouped together...as well as all of the 'Chatters'
This kid is funny...every time I tried to take a picture of his toys, I noticed a blurry woody being being shoved in front of my lens...
silly boy...whenever he does something funny, he asks me to take a picture so 'you can blog it.'
...one thing he definitely did NOT get from me or Eric is his love of chocolate. Max loves himself some chocolate....
Just look at this meal he concocted...
Eric and I promptly made and enjoyed potato salad, pretzel & potato salad hors d'oeuvres...
Gotta love the neat display and color arrangementHis creative play is SoooOOOOOO Eric

Since Max is about to start preschool, we were required to take the Child development screening...to which we had to answer a series of questions, one of which is Max's ethnicity. Growing up I distinctly remember a multi-ethnicity option, not so with this screen...so, I've been contemplating what to answer...if it were based on food preferences, I wouldn't hesitate for a moment, he's always stealing my seaweed salads, my stinky tofu, crunchy fish, rice, noodles, steamed eggs, lychee ice cream, boba drinks, steamed meat buns, mango, sticky rice, etc.
