Even though we don't have any kids in school and it has been quite a while since either Eric or I were in school...we are now really starting to feel the shift in the air as school lets out... Max's play group had their final pot luck for the year (Thanks, Hillary, it was great), water parks are starting to open and the relaxed buzz of summer is quickly intoxicating our senses.
For the first time in a while, it FEELS like summer...It helps to have friends in the know who also happen to be professors...as well as a few sister-in-laws who are teachers...
Lia, Kiri and Max are finally starting to be friends...

Right before summer, I caught a second wind of ambition almost finished my bedding/living room make-over project that I'd been working on since I found this fabric in December! Three more projects and I'm done! School's out!!!

Wow, that is impressive! I love that fabric and you have decorated your house so well! I may have to consult when you come to LA next;) I still feel the swing in seasons and school even though I am not in school. Unfortunately, here the weather is always gloomy in June so we don't get our real summer weather until mid July!
