School's back from the summer!!!

 Lia and Kiri started preschool this year...I can't believe how quickly time flies...they have been pretending to go to school for sometime...so, this was a welcome adventure for them.

 it was surreal to drop them off at Mrs. Merlee's, it seemed so unchanged...when in fact, it was unchanged

 This is a picture from Max's first day of school...here is the sign from the front window

 his teacher 'Mrs. Mer lee Mccort' was also his nursery teacher, so she had a special tenderness with Max...

 Max is in first grade with Mrs. Guffey and I am the learning link for his class...fun times...

 The girls only have preschool two days a week, so they are in two playgroups a week and we get Fridays off! 

For now, Baby D and I are content to spend all of our time together...at least I am! :)

Baby D's blessing

this was the invitation but the picture was taken around 6 weeks

 

 We had his blessing in August and made White lamb favors since Baby D was born in the year of the Sheep

 

 the girls could not resist these 'white lammies!' they ate them faster than I could make them. 

I think I made about 200 lambs after all was said and done!

 And , of course, the traditional red eggs for good luck!

Friends who helped ensure our kids had a great time...as you can see we have no pictures of Max as we rarely saw him the entire weekend...

So grateful for friends and neighbors who invite us out even though we had  baby D and basically stayed in the camper the whole time...

 Eric's sister Carli offered to paint all of the kids' faces...Guess who shoved nieces and nephews to get to the front of the line? Always a kid at heart!!!
