Princess Lia & Princess Kiri

It was the girls' first birthday party and we celebrated in style! After hours of searching at Chinatown my mom and I found these dresses online at http://www.elitedresses.com/

We had Pink candies, fortune cookie boxes, plum blossom stickers, pens, chopsticks, paper fans, parasols, napkins, plates, Chinese foods, great friends, family...gotta love Oriental Trading with e coupons.
My brother really liked this picture...he said she really looked like a lady...very contemplative.

This was the theme of their party...aside from pink...I loved President Uchtdorf's quote...so, I made it into a collage for the girls' party.

She is a fighter and the best mei-mei around...we love you, Kiri, baby!

Here's my present to them this year...they received so many hair bows and they don't have hair as of yet, so, I made a decorate hair bow organizer.magnet board for their room...amazingly, it cost me less than $5 to make. So Pinterst, huh?!

Party with Macho Man Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth

Our friends had the coolest family Halloween party.

The girls loved eating candy...

Especially Kiri!
Max with his Big mac pumpkin
Our friends had a party fully equipped with a photo room.

They also had a toilet paper mummy contest. We were robbed of first prize!!

When I showed this picture to my brother, he asked if the Macho was really holding the two on his shoulders...to which I informed him in the affirmative! What a man!
Oh, baby Hulk!

Downtown stroll

This year we did the downtown stroll, again. Max's favorite part is seeing all the other children dressed up. We were in front of the fire station with Firefighter Steve, Ruth, Broden, Eric, Marley, Me, the girls and Max.

If you're thinking I look a little sickly, it's because my fave if painted a faint green.

Here's Brinley and Stockton.

The cutest chubby little peacock I'd ever seen.

Apparently Eric didn't get the cool club #3 shirt memo.
Give me some Blue Steel!

Family shot at the pumpkin patch downtown.

So, this is my explanatory picture shot...see, Max is black Spiderman, and the girls were pumpkins...So, I thought and thought about how to incorporate a family theme and came up with Eric was going to be Red Spiderman and I would be the Green Goblin, Spiderman's nemesis who throws pumpkin bombs...since the costume wasn't as clear as I hoped it would be, I resorted to carrying a Green Goblin figurine along with me the entire day.

Marley came with us, so that her parents could spend the day making sweet whoopy! Just kidding, they were frantically setting up for their spectacular party that night.

Max and his funny smile...he was so worried about his face paint rubbing off.
It was such a great day with friends, fun and candy!

Overland Ward Halloween Party

Here are our pumpkins at the ward party

Kiri could not contain her excitement on the way over!

Lia, however, was much more calm.

Max has been so eager to be black Spider man, (not to be confused with venom)

This is one of our neighbors and Max favorite friends, Lincoln

Is this not the cutest thing E.V.E.R?!!

He was so worried about smearing his face paint that he couldn't even fully enjoy his most favorite donut in the world: a Cowboy donut, of course!

Minnie and Mickey!

We were skeletons.

I love that this is the picture Eric choose to update on Facebook...Look at my face? Now, I can't be the only one who's accused of being vain because I once chose a wedding picture in which I looked acceptable and he was totally squinting.

For the cakewalk, Max chose this poop cake made by our friends from Kemmerer who moved to Rock Springs the year before us and are now in our ward, the Lovells!

We were all supposed to bring Chilli or cornbread and I chose to bring a white chilli that I owe a special thanks to Joan Phillips. The first time I ever had white chilli was hers and I loved it so much that she sent me the recipe. I LOVE this chilli and this time I found purple and green tomatillos and Max dubbed it Green Goblin Chilli. We had a great time and are so happy to be a part of the Overland Ward!
