An EaSTeR mouse...

We took these right before church on Easter Sunday. How cute are they?!

Not so happy in this one...

Here are some outtakes...Max quickly loses interest.

Easter, after the Easter Bunny stole our eggs and hid them all over the back yard.

Decorating Easter eggs and playing with the slime he made...he LOVES playing with his slime.

Hours and hours of fun have been had thanks to some Elmer glue and a few other ingredients!

Some of our favorite eggs...I really like the 'slimed' egg.

A bit of disturbing news: I think we have a mouse in our house...

Some evidence...Exhibit A-F...

...but then, the overwhelming evidence against a mouse and in favor of a little chocoholic boy...

Parker turns ONE!!

One year ago, on April fool's day, my brother and sister-in-law welcomed their son, Parker into the world! He is the cutest boy and my brother decided to buy Parker a mini for his birthday! Just kidding...but he did get one for himself!

My mom and Parker...so cute!

Kristina and Parker blowing out the candles.

My mom asked me what she should get Parker. We brainstormed for a while and couldn't come up with anything too spectacular...but, I did tell her that I bought Parker a tricycle that I was planning on bringing to California on our trip later this month...imagine my surprise when my brother sent me these pics from his party...and here's one of Parker on the new tricycle my mom bought him! Total party foul...but, look at that face, I can't stay mad! Happy Birthday, Parker!

FrEe dAy!

Our friends the Wills invited us to Free Day at the college where he teaches. I just wanted this picture to be the thumbnail on other people's blog!

Here are the kids, Ashlee, Max and Caitlin.

Eric and Chris...weirdo's!

They had face painting and the girl didn't know how to do Spiderman...really, who doesn't know Spiderman...so, she said I could paint it.

Caitlin chose a butterfly...

Ashlee also chose Spiderman...can we all just laugh at the girl standing to the right of Ashlee...I think we have a finger sucker!

You gotta love Max's web fingers. It's better than before, it used to be just him pointing his index finger.
Ashlee's dad said that Max was Spiderman and that Ashlee was Spidergirl...to which Ashlee responded, 'No, he's Spiderman and I'm SpiderAmanda.' You've got to love her wit!

Max loves a good Pinata! Like we suspected, when Eric and I weren't running it, no fits were pitched!

Here Max is meeting the Western Wyoming Mustang.

Mustang and Caitlin.

They let me nurse the girls behind the curtain at the nurse's station...let me tell you, I was not expecting a dummy in the bed and was even more freaked out by his one dilated eye. Creepy!

The kids were so good and patient while I nursed the girls.

We were walking the halls and stumbled across this beauty! These are our friends the Casey's. Max asked if firefighter Steve was the same as Scuba Steve. We got the bookmark version and are fully intending on getting firefighter Steve's autograph and bringing it to church every week!

They got to make pasta necklaces and play in the kids' center.

This picture speaks for itself...

Eric holding Lia and Kiri (left to right).

They got to make slime.
...homemade ice cream...Max made banana.
Another pit stop for nursing...

While the kids played...

...and by kids I mean Eric and Chris. Chris was doing push-ups...Eric noticed and soon a contest ensued.

We went swimming...Caitlin was so brave on the diving board...

...Ashlee was so brave she didn't even wait for her father to catch her before she sprung from the board...
The bravest of them all...NOT MAX!!! I'm ashamed to say, his wimpiness was EPIC...so epic that even the lifeguards were laughing...oh, well...we'll get him there! He looks like he got a sunburn, but it's really just the face paint remnants.

We had such a great day and were so happy to have been invited to participate in it!

Hunger Games & Pizza Days

Went to opening night of The Hunger Games...it was fantastic...I had a few qualms...but all in all, a spectacular evening...o.k., I won't rant too long...but, if you haven't read the books *fine* just don't ask questions during the movie or laugh at inappropriate times.
Also, I read on Facebook the other day about how all these people were saying they didn't succumb to peer pressure to read these books like they did the Twilight series...to which I reply, you complete dolt...to (A) compare the two series (2) to be peer pressured into reading an entire book series, you weakling and (d) to view any sort of time spent reading as a waste.

I love this picture of Lia & Kiri napping...I love that they are starting to recognize each other and enjoy one another's company.

Lia in the Jumperoo...when we first put her in...it took a few attempts for her to jump with enough force to make all of the bells and whistles go off...but she was so proud of herself afterwards. She's such a sweet and determined little girl. Kiri in the Jumperoo. Eric was skeptical of putting Kiri in, since she is so tiny...well, I put her in and immediately it started to chime...when I looked to congratulate her, I notice that she had simply figured out the override button and was pressing it...she did end up getting it to go off with her jumping...but, I've always believed, working smarter, not harder is better!! Sweet little girl!

Papa Murphy's has a new $3.00 Mini Murphy's kit for kids Max's age and we decided to try it out. Here you can see him sporting his Eldridge family apron while he makes his first pizza pie!
To which he sang, 'when the moon in the sky's like a big piece of pie, that's a more for me.'

It's funny to see your kids emulate yourself...I make this face all of the time when I get my picture taken. Funny boy, you feign that enthusiasm!

Sporting his 'Mini Chef' temporary tattoo.

Like father like son...eating their pizza's the same way.

Max enjoying his spoils.

Eric, enjoying the Cheeseburger pizza...which was surprisingly good...I wouldn't order it, again...but worth the experience.
