Wild things and ballerinas...

So, I just got back from a little unexpected trip to California…more on that later…in the mean time…here are some pictures from the last few weeks. I got home to see a surprise present Eric had painted for Max’s room…isn’t it amazing? I have one talented husband!!!!Eric got a chance to go see our neice’s dance recital. Here he is with Jenna, our other neice. Is she not the most precious ballerina EVER?!

Here is Brooke showing Carli her moves!!! Shake that groove thang!!! The elderly man with the red baseball cap seems enthralled!!!

The Lion's House, the Bjorn and the Temple

Eric and I each had to teach in church on Mothers’ Day, so we decided to meet up with Jim, Julie, Carli & Chuck in Salt Lake at the temple the day before.

Here is a picture of us torturing Max’s soul…

The flowers were amazing!!!

Max and his Grandpa

We all know what kind of picture this looks like. I took this picture of Chuck and Carli…pretty artistic, huh? Chuck was nice when I showed him the picture of them… “see, you are artistic, Aimei!” I think maybe Chuck should go into teaching, too, because he was very good at finding ways to be encouraging (even if I didn’t deserve it).

The Phillips Three

We went to Brigham Young’s house for lunch.

I had the Beef Wellington (which was fabulous) and we all had a great time (other than Max having a blow out...)

We all got cupcakes free for mothers’ day...but before we decided to take a picture I had already eaten my cupcake, so Julie let me hold her's...don't judge me!!!

Calling all Eldredge family members!!!!

This is just a save the date notice. The Phillips are in charge of this year’s family reunion. It will be in Evanston, Wyoming on August 8, 2009 (which also happens to be me and Eric’s anniversary). Knowing that this year’s reunion will be a slightly farther trek for some of you, we are planning a myriad of activities that are sure to please.

More details to come…if you could all please send a baby picture to me via email aimei.chiu@gmail.com

If you can’t scan it, we can work something else out, just let me know.
If you have ideas or want to help, feel free to email me and I will pass it along to the proper people.
Thanks and we look forward to seeing you all!!!

Tater Twister

For my birthday last year Julie and Jim got me a massage…while the masseur, Paco, was well trained in prenatal massages…I opted to wait until after I had Max…and it was well worth it…for anyone who lives in or near Evanston, Paco was great!
We stayed the weekend in Evanston and since Hanky and Jenna were there, too, we decided to bust out our tater twister. We bought it at a garage sale (new- the owner said she never used it) in Afton a couple of years ago for a dollar…I googled it today and found it on sale (used) for $65.00!!!
Here is a picture of one of our longest curly fry…as you can see it’s longer than Hanky is tall!!!

Hanky was so excited to have a boy cousin with an “X” in his name…he really was great with Max the entire weekend. Here, I bought them matching Superman pajamas!!! How cute are they?!My little super Max

Easter

These pictures are from Easter. Here is one of our first family photos. (Thanks, Camille, for being the only person who noticed that we were all matching…I love matching!)

Here is Max hanging out while I made deviled eggs.
This year I made deviled eggs with crab and capers (I’m a big mayo fan, though I used Miracle Whip instead of Best foods…I’ve always been a big supporter of knowing your audience and when you cook for the Phillips family…it’s Miracle Whip all the way).
